Dance for the newborn sun

Winter solstice is the longest night, but it's also the point when the days will grow bigger.
In a lot of culture it's a celebration for the return of the light. A birth of a very new sun.

I can't help but thik that there is probably a celebration of this type in ~Maiwenn's world of "the riders"
Since she told me about Tanathin as a really good dancer, and that we both screams to imagine him in sort of more ceremonial outfits... This idea has popped in my mind.


I was really happy with the wintery morning color, and for the light.
The first coloring was way brighter and had a frost border in the corners... But when I was about to finish the pic I open back an anterior version of the pic with brut, darker colors, and no frost and it made the glittery version look so cheap that I came back on the less detailed version and polished it just a bit. It seemed more "strong" for me. But I confess that I still feel inconfortable with a so "zen" background XDDD

So... I waish some Merry Holidays to everyone, and Merry Holydays to (I hope he will please you sweety !!! )

It was very god for my gloomy mood to work on this sunny piece.
