Back in the years where he was just sooo selfish XD
Another commish-collab this time with  She did the sketch and I made the coloring.Looking through her gallery since quite long now, and always loving her style and her so interresting atmosphere, I could not help but commission her for a sketch of my victorian Alchemist, Nicodemus. When I received the sketch it was just "the gasp". I was very surprise, because she captured another side of the character. I usually draw him in our days, 24 years old, and librarian of the Opera court, still stucked in his XIX fashion. But when I saw Ysa's sketch I was just suprised, but in a good way. I've just recognise him but in his time, back in the years where he was the average awesome and arrogant sidhe noble arriving in Paris and meeting the brand new Opera Court. A new born and powerful chimerical domain shining and illuminating the whole city. So thanks again Ysa for this wonderful pic. Without your help I think I would just haven't been able to imagine Nicodemus with a top hat. Line from coloring and retouched photo in the background from me. About the perspective it's probably cause the photo is a montage of 4 different ones, it tends to change the perspective, but I must confess that it's especially what I was looking for ^ ^

But about the detail inside it's nothing to do with technique... It's just a texture ^ ^
